This release introduces support in the SignServer Community edition for code signing with post-quantum cryptography, Azure Key Vault and enhanced DNS security. And from now on, SignServer Community will be released more often.
Release highlights include:
- More frequent releases – Community releases will follow the SignServer Enterprise release schedule including all major and feature releases.
- Code signing with post-quantum cryptography – Support for the SPHINCS+ algorithm allows users to try out creating post-quantum keys and signatures.
- Azure Key Vault support – cloud-based alternative to standard HSMs or software keystore.
- DNSSEC support – for enhanced security on top of the Domain Name System (DNS).
